Resurrection Day.I chose a photo of these little Peeps not because it's candy or because I love Peeps, but because they are little baby chicks. Baby anything reminds me of newness, because babies are new. Brand new living things. I'm reminded of new life. Quite a significant thought in light of what today is all about. Quite significant.
I am reminded that I, too, am new. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. My life is brand new, and it is in Him. (Galatians 2:20)
Thinking about that makes me happy. And yes, eating Peeps makes me happy.
