photography challenge, day 22: the hawk.

There is a hawk that hangs out in our neighborhood quite often. We've seen him hanging out in different trees, and it's obvious. You know it's a large bird when you can see it, clearly, in a tree, from a distance, with your naked eye.

I switched lenses and snapped this shot of him right before he flew off.

Pages 40-44 in my Digital Field Guide were read today. They go into detail about choosing metering modes. Man that was helpful.
