day 60: hopscotch.

Some kids drew this in my neighborhood a few days ago, and yesterday my three year-old son (who'll be turning four at the end of this month) showed me that he knew exactly what it was for. It was so cute, seeing him jump the squares in the hopscotch pattern. I had been saying I would take a picture of it but kept forgetting. Luckily, I remembered this morning as we stepped out the door and I snapped it with my iPhone before leaving for school. It'll be gone tomorrow for sure; rain's a-comin'. AGAIN. Thanks, Hurricane Ida. Sigh.

I always loved playing hopscotch as a kid.
